wow, i have not written in this thing in so long..., where have i been? Hmm, i dont even know.
Anyway, last night i went to dinner with my parents, brother, and Shawn at this restaurant near Ledgewood called (i think) The Silver Stream...but i could be wrong. The dinner was great, Shawn got to experience my family talks as we talked about The Apprentice, Dreams, Movies, the random music that they were playing in the background of the restaurant...., it was soo odd--it was like this japanese flute version of the 60's and 70's greatest movie hits...(if that made sense). It was a lot of fun. Thennnn, after dinner i went back to Shawn's house, where we drove to Blockbuster and rented one of the most AMAZING movies i have ever seen....Love Me if You Dare..., or Juex D'enfants (i'm hoping thats the right title). It's a french film, and months and months and months ago i remember watching the trailer and being completely flabbergasted with how incredible it looked. And i remember sending it to Affan, lol, and gushing about how fabulous it looked and how much i wanted to see it and him going "yeah, thats nice" lol.
So when we were at Blockbuster and i was on a mission to find a movie that neither Shawn or i had seen, right as soon as we were ALMOST set on geting Harold and Kumar...i saw the lone copy of Love Me if You Dare on the bottom shelf....IT WAS FATE!!! So of course it caused for a little leg pulling and guilt after realizing that i told Shawn last weekend that this was his turn to chose the movie....but we HADDDDD to see this movie!! (Plus 'Dogtown & The Z-Boys' [my pick from last week] was a pretty great movie, lol. It's a documentary on the guys who basically invented skateboarding the way it is today. I dont know, I loved it.) So Shawn still has to realize that every movie i choose is going to be a good pick, lol. Hopefully. But after watching the movie we both were just in awe. I can't even really discribe it to anyone, but if you're planning on seeing it--just take my word for it. It's amazing.
