Snow
I was so intent on rising at a reasonable hour (6am) to prepare my day and get to the workplace. Then I looked outside and saw it. Snow. I actually have very little experience with snow as an adult having lived further south than I am at present for several years. But as a child I remember several snow episodes and all of them good. I am going to have another cup of hot cocoa and just gaze upon the snow reflecting back the slowly rising light of the day. Yes, I will have begun my day tardy but for this it will be worth the memories.
