Goodness, 24 Weeks?? I won't even bother trying to explain all that has kept me away, so let's just jump right in, shall we?
Here is a piece that I am working on right now. I had sketched it out months ago for the EBSQ nude show, but then life got in the way, as it sometimes does. I just picked it up again recently. Obviously (I hope), it is after Michelangelo's David. My version is 21st Century David. I contemplated putting a cell phone in his hand, but decided the bold colors and acrylic medium spoke to the contemporary nature of it enough. Hard to say how "done" he is. Maybe 75-80%? Comments and critiques most welcome.
