Okay, wow. I really think that was the most creepy and stressful SPN ep yet. I'm glad I watched it for the first time at 11 am with the bright sun outside instead of at night, 'cause just *shivers*
I keep feeling like I have to justify my liking of Jo, but you know what. That's dumb. I like her and I can just like her and there's nothing wrong with that. I like that she was clearly scared waking up in that box but that she kept herself from freaking out. I like that she puts together a good file. I like that she's not a kickass hunter but she's not a wimpy girl either and she's got potential.
John was the one with Jo's dad. Damn. Like Dean really needed something else to beat himself up about (not that I mind that 'cause, mmm, Dean angst). And I do think there's more to it that she's not letting on yet. I mean she says that John was like family at one point. That bit was just to try to get Jo to stay away from Dean.
• A girl that's been abducted by a cult. Katie Holmes. *sporfle* Oh, Dean. "And for you, so bitchy." Oh, Sam. *cackle*
• The first thing Dean says when he wakes up is "where's Sam?"
• Dean bullseyed every bottle the first time John took him shooting. wow.
• Walking through the city of Philadelphia with a geeker a shovel and duffel bag. So awesome.
• Dean not only knows how to drive a cement truck he stole one. *loves*
eta: And, yes, there were things that I didn't like too, but that's not what I'm here for. Fandom is my happy place and I'm here for the squee (and the porn) and I have faith in the Krip, he hasn't let me down yet and I don't expect he's going to. In conclusion: I love my show.
& OMG next week's director's cut clip. LOVE. (and it's not really spoilery just awesome.)
