What a weekend! "Surprise" party for the best friend, pics will be on facebook soon.[long confusing, freaking story..but with a happy ending!], Joe Palooza, Corona, card games, late nights @ Stu West with my Fiji boys, Cheeseburger in Paradise, Joe's dad, getting closer to new friends, actually feeling like I have an impact on the people around me...it was definately one to remember!
Realization:I realized more this week than ever before how important my friends are in my life. This semester has been by far one of the most difficult of my college experience and just knowing that I have an entire support system of people that are behind me makes it all worthwhile. I feel like I have been on a rollercoaster of emotions...never really sure where the wind will blow me but always being blown somewhere. I'm slowly learning to just accept the things I can't change, and to try and change the things that have possibility...to stop chasing those in my life who don't value my values and morals and to start letting those with the same aspirations in life to find me. I have a feeling that even though I will be stressing about $$$ until the day I die...it is not the most important thing in life. Friends, family and those who love you are. Seeing the smiles on those closest to me and spending time with those I love is the most important thing in my life...it took me this semester to truly understand that.
Here's to you: Through the ups and downs of college we've been there. We've pushed eachother to the limits..always expecting the best out of one another. I truly have no idea where I would be without you in my life. I came to college hoping to find my husband, hoping to find bridesmaids for my wedding...but I found you, someone ten times as important...a true friend who will stand the test of time. You're my world. Te Amo.
