School Supplies for Kids in Afghanistan
So this is a really late posting, but I am putting it up anyhow. A friend of mine has a brother serving as on a medevac team in Afghanistan and he and another friend of his are collecting money to give school supplies to kids in the area he is working in. They are aiming to have $1,000 by the end of August, which is only a week away. They are actually quite close, but I am sure they won't turn down additional funds if we manage to push them over the top of that amount. The url below is for the brief posting they have put up about what they are doing and has a Paypal link letting you send them school supply funds.
