the heat from in their pockets could burn marks into their legs.

the loves of my life

gravy train!!!
anthony and i headed over to san francisco last night for the best concert ever. the crowd was so fun and friendly, and definitely the best dressed group of people i've ever seen. just the people watching alone was worth it; such an amazing array of fresh, un-cliched fashion, plus i didn't see one studded belt the entire night and i can't even say how refreshing that was. hunx and chunx danced next to me and anthony the whole concert until it was their turn to go on. i got the utter entertainment of seeing chunx hit on every single underage boy in the venue, and just laugh. the people at the show were so awesome and nice. during the gravy train!!! set i made some new girl friends, and we just completely rocked out and sang along to everything. the girl next to me, whom i met when she accidentally held my hand, was so funny and cute and we started making up dances to the 80s songs playing in the background before the band when on. the gravy train!!! set was absolutely ridiculous and raunchy as always, and after the show they stuck around to hang out and goof around. besides the show, i think one of the best parts was in between bands and before and after the show, when the dj played an array of 80s favorites and we all just had a huge dance party in the middle of the floor, rocking out our hardest. you just can't beat great bands at small clubs and lots of crazy dancing.

hunx insisted on seeing any of the photos i had taken of the set, which added up to about 5, and after taking a puff of his cigarette concluded in the most flamboyant tone,
"damn, i have such a hot body... can you send me all of them?"

up and coming...
in about an hour i'm heading back to berkeley for the week. the week at the gallery is going to be a crazy one because we have our first summer opening exhibition on wednesday. i'm very excited because i really like the artists' work that's being displayed and i get to meet all of the artists at the opening. i'm bringing my mom as my date, and it will be nice to have someone there to look at the displays i've designed and set up. tomorrow i get to start designing the new brochure for the gallery, which is the main reason i agreed to work there for free in the first place. my first professional design experience, yay! now back to the insane drugged-out people of berkeley, and away from the torture that comes with living at home. but i am officially going to london for a few days at the end of thes summer, and it is the joy of the future that keeps me smiling every day.

the moldy peaches' "anyone else but you" is the cutest, most awkward love song. i just adore it.
