both my kimmy 
and emily
have come back into my life from their abroad adventures. so happy about that. i love my best college girls. just hearing about their experiences makes me so excited to go abroad next year.
the play went very well. the bates show was a sold out audience in the biggest theater on campus. i almost passed out before i went on. the performance for the kids was absolutely adorable. it was so sad though because all of the little girls in the audience were so excited to see 'sleeping beauty' when the curtain went up, but my character is a total bitch and i don't think they knew what to do with it, haha. it was all a huge success though, and i am very happy to have been a part of it.
i had my last class today, last class at bates for a year. my art critique went surprisingly well, and i was amazed by the positive feedback i received. the kids in my class really picked up on everything i was going for. it was kind of sad to take it down because an instillation is not really a preservable thing, but i've made all of the little canvases into tiny paintings, and so it's cool to recycle the whole thing.
i'm going to be living in berkeley this summer. my work plans are still undecided, but i have the sweetest apartment for a GREAT deal, and an interview set up at an art gallery when i get back.
