i am so confused by what i see when i look at designer dresses. it sometimes seems like the designer is playing some kind of sick joke on the celebs that are wearing their "creations". I went to the Vivianne Westwood (or however you spell her horrendously overpriced name) website and guess what a silk above the knee baby doll dress costs. $600 ( Read more... )

You should totally create the 'Xelana' line... Charge half the money that 'Viviannnnnnnnnnnneeenanana..' or whatever her name is... His name... It's name... You'd make a killing. And... The clothes would look better too. :D

old designers ('30s-70s) were very respectable in their clothing and in those they chose to wear the designs to market them. They all had a specific style and chose actresses/actors, singers, and others who embodied that style to wear them to events ( ... )

Dude. You should totally start a clothing line. I am available as a helper. I'll help sew and build a website. We can market to actual size women that want to look sexy instead of frumpy. It's totally do-able.

not to mention dresses that don't look like someone wrapped a circus tent around some skinny girl like 285 times.

As of now, I am a penniless substitute. However, I think this is an excellent idea, and I would buy stock in your company!

The name is all they are paying, or borrowing, to wear and advertise. The personal dressers and shoppers do the same thing. And that is very sad when they could have someone go to the nearest mall and find a cheaper version of the same damn thing since every other retail store is going to put out another version of that same overpriced yet 'in' garment.

Bearing all that in mind, I hereby offer my services as helper, give over some
possibly crappy things I drew up, and also sign on as part of the marketing team.
