For Christmas, I got what I'm fairly certain was food poisoning. Xmas was not a happy day with the family as planned. I was able to drug up enough to spend three hours upright, opening gifts and chatting with the fam, but then it was back home with the crud. Last night after giving the Sith kitties their dinner, I didn't realize I'd fed them the last of their dry kibble. So of course this morning when I went to the pantry to feed them breakfast there was no food. I slept most of the morning and did nothing but watch TV for the rest of the day. I thought about calling some local folks or jumping online to chat, but at the same time I felt rather anti-social and like I didn't really want to communicate with the world. My fingers are bruised and bloody nubs after assembling furniture all day, but the new place is really coming together. I now have a coffee table, lighting, a TV/media center, a new computer desk, and thanks to the IKEA markdown area, a fairly large table that probably was a dinner table for six which is now a craft/art table in my studio. Ordered my camera today. Originally I'd decided on the Canon SD940, but it was outside of what I want to spend right now. Then I found the Canon SD780 IS and it seems to fit the bill.
