OWA & CP Foolishness
And now, because I'm feeling quite peculiar, here's an excerpt from the original outline I did for OWA (naturally, I deviated from it almost immediately and all over the place, but parts of it continue to amuse me):
It's the last one that really makes me chortle.
And one thing in particular from the CP outline:
- Harry either recklessly runs off into battle or is "kidnapped"
- titanic battle is staged (for benefit of soontobefree!DEs) and golem!Harry eventually "kills" the golem!Tom
- all DEs (and Sev) keel over, some die, some lose Dark Mark
- after checking their handiwork, Harry and Tom do a runner
- Severus "wakes up" - perhaps he keeled over in front of Albus?
- he "discovers" that his DM is gone, expresses shock
- Order rushes in where angels fear to tread (snicker) and find both corpses and a shitload of DEs
- news gets out, wizarding world celebrates
- Albus has a sherbet lemon and pats himself on the back
It's the last one that really makes me chortle.
And one thing in particular from the CP outline:
- 16a. Rick wants a penguin playing a banjo somewhere in the story that he'll never actually read.
