The countdown has begun...

6 more days to enjoy the last of my 20's. What am I going to do in those days? Probably absolutely nothing.

We were out of town last weekend, saying our goodbye's to Becca. It was a beautiful service, her brother Marty played a Final Fantasy piece on the xylophone. It was very beautiful. I can't remember which song it was, but I'm pretty sure it was FF. We visited with old friends for a while, it was good to see them again. Its been almost 5 years since we've been around them as a "group" I wish the circumstances were better. I don't know if we "reconnected" with any of them, so to speak, but we briefly updated the goings on in the past, and spent some time.

The upcoming weeks are going to be busy. Independence day is this weekend, I'm not sure if my parents are coming down, I will have to call my mom after I make this post so we can plan.

As I said in the intro, my birthday is next Monday. I'll be 30 years old. I don't think we have anything special planned. For the past 3 years my birthdays have been filled with planning for Gryphon's birthday which is on the 14th. Lots and lots to do still.

We'll be in Ft. Collins the weekend of the 12th and 13th. One of Duncan's best friends Zaiem recently got married and is having a cultural wedding on the 12th, and Gryphon's birthday on the 13th. So busy weekends for the next few weeks.

I think we have plans on the following weekend to go to the Ren Faire with Heather.

And that'll pretty much fill up our July.

In the meantime, I need to make a collage, send out the family newsletter, finish organizing our mail (along with the rest of the house) take pictures, and a bazillion other things.

My poppies have bloomed in my front yard. I have some pics of that. I didn't get any of the pink ones, but I have both orange and pink poppies. And of course, a TON of columbines.

Here's some pics of those.

Orange Poppy

Pink Columbine

Blue Columbine

Thats all for now.

Cheers.
