let's make boats
I'm sure this will draw a lot of blank stares, but I want to have a boat-building day. You see, there's this web site that has free plans for a cheap, sturdy, easy-to-build row or sail boat. So I propose we get together one day and build a few.

- They're dinky so storage won't be a big problem.
- Parts come to less than $100 (probably less when purchased in bulk)
- I have all the neccessary tools.
- Doing a bunch at once means there will be many people on hand to help with all those little things that require an extra set of hands.
- Making things with friends is fun.
- When we're done, you'll have a boat.
