RIP Richard Wright

A sad day for Pink Floyd fans, as group co-founder and keyboardist Rick Wright has died from cancer at 65.  While Gilmour and Waters took the spotlight, Wright was an essential part of their sound.  Talent-wise he was outdone only by Gilmour.  For those who wish to get a sampling of how great Rick Wright was, listen to all of "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" from the Wish You Were Here album.  My favorite passage of his was the understated opening to "Sheep."
