I need sleep. Lots of it.

It's basically the last week of school.

It's also 3:20 in the morning.

I'm not sleeping because I'm an complete idiot.

I've been sleeping what should be an adequate amount. It isn't doctor recommended amounts, but I am usually fully functionaly on 5-7 hours. This is the second morning I've awakened with that strange dizzy-sick feeling. I find myself wondering if my BP is totally screwed up. Remember the insomnia I've been dealing with?
I went to bed shortly after 11 last night, was still wide awake at 1, and having a nice little panic attack because my alarm was gonna go off at 4:45.  I tried taking something.  Not a sleeping pill, but a night-time cold pill that makes me sleepy.

Week Three: Day One
Every night at between 3:35 and 3:50 a.m. I wake up, unless I have been drinking excessively.  Half of the time I wake up two or three other times as well, but the 3:45 awakening is the worst, because I can't really get back to sleep afterward.  It's like my body thinks I only need 3-4 hours of sleep instead of my usual 7-9.  I ( Read more... )
