i'm leaving in about an hour to drive up to fayetteville. i'm going to stay there for a few days, sitting at a friend's house, drinking whiskey and talking about things. i knew i needed to get the fuck out of this town for a little while, and now i'm making it happen. hopefully it'll be just what i need - right now, i'm sure it is.
...off to buy a bottle of merlot for the drive up there. all i'm taking is a few pairs of clothes and a plethora of books (oscar wilde, hemmingway, kerouac, bukowski, hawthorne, etc.).
this is my mission to get away from cocaine and the ex girl. wish me luck.
