Maybe.... this would be great for 2nd entry...

Lately I've been reading manga called Kurobara Alice (Black Rose Alice) by Mizushiro Setona. I've been her fans since I read Houkago Hokenshitsu (Afterschool Nightmare). So I was delighted to find the scanlation of Kurobara Alice. Anyway... this is a little synopsis I Made after reading for 2 chapters:

Dimitri (seems like he is the main character) was an opera singer. He had 2 best friends, Agnieszka (A woman he had secretly fall in love with) and Theodor (I dont know how to spell his name... >_<). Both Agnieszka and Theodor were nobleman's descendant, but Dimitri is only a mere gypsi singer and earning his living from singing and sleeping with rich women.

Butterflies picture in the chapter 1 - I LOVE butterfliesAgnieszka and Theodor at the birthday partyDimitri singing for Agnieszka's Bithday party
After Agnieszka and Theodor was having a party one day, at tomorrow morning Dimitri's having an accident with horse carriage. The accident is partly because he was seething in anger after hearing that Theodor has slept with Agnieszka after the party, and he didn't want anyone to taint his little Agnieszka whom he treat like an angel.

After this accident, Dimitri's life took a 180 degrees turn. It seemed that he had been turned into a vampire-like creatures who seek blood to quench his thirst. Especially, what it took to made his prey obey him is only to sound his order in certain C note octave ( I didn't even know how to read musical notes, so I don't know what this means). As a vampire, nothing could kill him. The only way to be dead is to sleep with the woman he love (what a romantic vampire species....).

Anyway, after understanding this, he went to Theodor's house and ask him to leave Agnieszka. Theodor -of course- refuse his wish and reprimend him about his status -a gypsi descendant without noble titles-. This anger Dimitri and he killed and drink Theodor's blood. After that, he was shocked with his own action and found that Agnieszka is watching the whole scene....

My opinion about the series:
Maybe it's good because personally I love all of Mizushiro Setona' s work. After all, it's still only 2 chapters scanlated out there. I still didn't catch the whole vampire succession/ throne ordeal after 2chapters. I'm thrilled to see how this series gonna turn into. Mizushiro Setona's work is very unpredictable, anything could happen in the end.
Anyway, it got a clear and lovely artwork. the character is perfectly blended (altough sometime Agnieszka's figure looked like a little girl) and I love how butterflies was imprinted into the scene (hehehe).
