A lot of our stuff is being removed today. House looks really strange without all the wall art.

Carys is napping down the street at Annie's. I am so glad she fell asleep; she dozed off for 10 minutes on our way back from the National Arboretum and I was worried it would ruin naptime. I wouldn't be as worried except that she's been shaving off time from her overnights lately and has taken a couple of short naps over the past two days (I think due to her ongoing allergy struggle) and she's got a small sleep deficit that she doesn't need to add to.

I am waiting for the four ibuprofens I took 20 minutes ago to kick in. Slept fine overnight but woke up with indeterminate shoulder trouble.

Good news - I've been forgoing the earplugs for the last several nights and have had no problems. Phew. It's nice to be back in a "normal" sleep state, even if it is accompanied by needing to stay up later to finish stuff around the house.

Have identified a couple of fun activities in Philadelphia: the Insectarium and the "Please Touch" Museum. Hope to have dinner with particle_person on Sunday night and should get the ok from my parents on that tomorrow (trying to make sure they don't have any conflicting appointments). I think we will also like the train ride back and forth.

Still worried about renovations and the impact on our schedule, but at least I now have plans for Wednesday AM...just wondering about naps for W/Th/F...

My fire fighter neighbor and I are both pissed at his neighbor on the other side of him for not leashing her dog and leaving the dog unsupervised so that it craps in his yard. I nearly stepped in it the other day while Carys and I were playing. The neighbor won't take responsibility for it, wants to blame it on another dog. (No one else on the street even so much as walks his or her dog unleashed.) As for the costume-and-set-designer neighbor upon whose property we are trespassing with our stone wall, we took the next step by writing to her about the formal permission to trespass letter, but haven't heard back. I hope she does something by the time we put the house on sale; it would be kind of obnoxious of her to wait for the next owner and then insist on a change.

I'm going to run over to the chiro and see about this shoulder. Wes is anxiously waiting around for his daddy time. :)
