A set of, er, marital aids, disguised as a sofa. And they have a local distributor, so guess what's going on the gift list for the wedding ... Lee actually found this site. She learns fast.

Our engagement party last Saturday was a lot of fun. Everyone enjoyed themselves once it got going, but both families were pretty frazzled right up until the first guests arrived. Well, everything's sorta orgamanised for the party tomorrow, and it only remains to go to the hall tomorrow and load up the fridges and eskies.

Today, for our engagement party on 15 April, my mother, Lee and I made about 10 kg (five oven-sized trays) of lasagne, including making the pasta itself. It's all on ice until the day.

Well no, quite the opposite. This weekend we will confirm that Caversham House (fear the flying gargoyles on the intro page) will be the venue for the ceremony and reception. That'll save on limo hire at least, and it's a lot easier than travelling around the countryside.

We went to have a look at a reception venue today: Caversham House. We were sold by the all-in-one capability of the place. So it looks like the ceremony, photo sessions and reception will all be held at the same venue: Caversham House. Very reasonable fees and beautiful grounds.
