So I went to the opthamologist this morning to find out what the fuck it is that my eyes are doing. You see, they've been acting like really coked-out rock stars for the past couple weeks, so I was kinda curious to find out exactly what my problem is.
Turns out, I now get auras. For any of you have been around a lot of people ranting about migraines, you'll have heard the term before. I do not mean that I have a powerful energy field of some exquisite colour surrounding me. No, it means that occasionally my eyes schizz out, and my hands will get numb because optic nerves in my brain are contracting. Oh, and by the way: auras can also take the form of stroke or epileptic-like symptoms; it can also look a lot like severe PMS.
So far I only get crazy eyes and numb hands....but if I start being particularly bitchy, it's not me, or you, it's my AURA.

Oh, and the other funny thing is that to get rid of auras, you put a nitro-glycerin tablet under your tongue.
Yep.
Nitro-glycerin.

Yum.
Or you can chew nicorette gum.
