Being in school again is so fantastically exciting!
Just ask Jeff...he had to sit through watching me eat while bouncing up and down and gesturing manically and trying to explain the depth of happy this has brought for me.
First off, my profs are phenomenal and funny. Second, I am already excited about all my classes; really interested in what we will be learning...which is pretty much my main motivation. If I get bored, I find it hard to justify putting any work into it. But I am SO excited! This is fabulous! And all this time between classes...So far I have been mostly lounging, listening to music and reading textbooks...and of course getting food, and spending a fucking mint on books.
But...
HOLY CRAP!!!
I am so frigging giddy. This is so much FUN! And I get to sleep in...EVERY. FRIGGING. DAY!!!
Seriously.
A Series of whacked-out or shitty jobs definitely puts all this into persepctive.
SOOOO HAPPY.
(of course, the down-side of this is that the whole point of this semester was for me t find some kind of direction other than theatre in which to get a degree so I can somehow also make money whilst carousing on stage...and so far, every class I keep thinking to myself: Oh...I could TOTALLY do this!)
Oh...and by the way... My Psych prof is also the Chaplain. And he brings about thirty students with him to Mexico every year, all expenses paid. And I am the only person in his class at the moment who doesn't seem to believe in ESP.
