Family ties
TWO hours of sleep... Went to sleep about 6:30ish... woke up at about 8:30 and rolled around in bed for about half an hour before getting up to go to class... and never went to sleep after that. And know what? I'm not even tired. Anyways, I'm well aware of the wall Ima hit by either tonight or tomorrow... so... yeah. can't believe I stayed up til that late, I blame George.
Anyways, wanted to post something. Yall have no idea how awesome Daniel's family is. I got myself kicked out, and by the next day his dad had come to West Ashley to pick me and my stuff up. They ask nothing in return, they've refused money, they actually give me money, and treat me as a second son. they bought me my DVD player and my TV for my birthday and christmas, respectively. Bought me a 60 dollar fossil watch for christmas...
How do I repay that? Especially when I have no clue how to, especially when they won't take rent money. They aren't the most well off family financially, not saying they're poor, but they're so giving when they have other things they need to worry about. Yet they still do whatever possible to make sure that I'm well off, to make sure that I have what I need, etc. They are the most loving and
giving family I know. They are so selfless, it makes me a bit uncomfortable at times because I can't give back (occasionally like I don't deserve it), but they're content with knowing that they've helped me, knowing that they've done whats right. Kind of restores some of my faith in people...
I love them with all my heart, and they have my complete respect. No persons do I hold higher respect for than Mrs. Shara and Mr. Mudge. My second family, my second home... I just wish that someday I can be as great of a person as they are.
Just want to thank them for all they've done, I honestly don't think I'd be where I am now with out them, I wouldn't be in college, I wouldn't have a place to stay, place to come home to, I owe them so much, just wish I could show how much I appreciate it.
