I decided not to wait for paint and appliance replacement before taking photos. It could take a while to get the fridge replaced (it has problems inside and regarding the seal that keeps cold air in) and please excuse the dishwasher that is no longer bolted to the counter, is missing the bottom plate, and the cover of which we had to tape on (I have not gotten around to calling maintenance but I will soon.) Anyway, I was up late (sorry the photos were taken at night - note the time on the wall clock - and therefore may be a little dark, and the blinds are closed.) No more rambling - let's get right to it. All of these photos are in the gallery, for organized review, by the way.
The kitchen was a junkheap, difficult to walk in. The pantry was basically a wreck, so that stuff was hidden and I re-bought stuff I actually had in stock because I couldn't see it.
It was not this bad every day, but... oh, shut up.
Here's that pantry area now. Oh, but do you think I just closed the doors to hide the disarray? No.....
See the Italian chef serving meatballs? I was up late, turning this into a mental illness by scrubbing down the dustbuster to make it shine.
I scrubbed every wall, cabinet, and even the floor by hand yesterday.
See all the chefs up there? They are actually different guys with different hair, etc.
I don't drink cappuccino, and I am so unsophisticated that I'm not completely sure what it is. (Coffee with milk?) Plain coffee, please, and let ME put a lot of milk in. In fact, let me brew it, too. No one else does it right, so just let me be a control freak about it. Do you like the clean floor?
Scroll back up and look at the counter. You know how much hidden junk was in those bowls/boxes? It was not easy to sort through but I didn't just stash it, I sorted and threw away a lot. Note that the angel was there and is still there.
