I did say we'd do the easiest rooms first. Yesterday's progress (in addition to about 4 trash bags and another 3 starting the collection today) includes the linen closet and the patio. You see, I could have just closed the door to the linen closet and cheated that way, but I'm not down with cheating right now.
The linen closet, crammed with crap. Then the reformed linen closet, with half the crap thrown away.
The junky porch. Then the porch, swept, with lots of stuff thrown away and remaining stuff neatly stacked.
Since you have slogged through looking at so much junk, it's time to look at something nicer. Everyone has to take a break sometimes, and there has to be more to life than work, work, work. Just so you don't think all we have are towels and junk:
Pimp my ride: (it's new, thank you)
Pimp his ride (it's also new, new vintage, that is. One of.... something in the single digits.)
Now, we're not total housekeeping flunkies, if you count the garden. Best garden on the block this year, if I do say so myself.
Like the plants? They'd look better if the deer had not come around snacking at night.
Purty, huh?
