I’ve been dealing with several levels of stress in my life for the past few months. This week, my office controller went on vacation, meaning I’ve been filling in for her.
Honestly, it’s been nice to have something to be anxious about that isn’t part of my personal life.

Um, where have you been all my life? Her music is so fucking good.

Pink Pony Club is just playing on a loop in my brain. Good Luck, Babe is such a great song about comp het. And Casual is like an Ode to They Who Shall Not Be Named and the events of last year.

Wonderful to have some real femme queer representation. 💕

So, pride was amazing. I had a really fun time with my friend and my stepdaughter. We only stayed for about two hours and that was probably good. Despite having applied sunblock before I left, I still took off my make up to find a sunburn in the evening. Our area’s pride celebration is today. I’m excited to go because it’s only the second time I’ll have ever been to pride. The first time was last year. I went to a different city’s celebration. I mentioned in an older post from like 8 years ago that we had gotten a kitten, Banshee. It was bittersweet to see that post because I lost her to cancer just at the end of this May. I thought, since my older post (which is private) had pictures, I would share who she grew up to be.
