Chocolate decadence - perhaps not such a good idea?
Every time I am trying to stick to my Points, something comes up and I'm tired of it. Birthdays, baby showers, I run out of food, etc. I am tired of not sticking to things! Maybe I should hope that I don't get the chocolate decadence cake! I don't even want to take my birthday off from eating right because then I will just feel nasty later on.
Blaine and I took the girls to the zoo last Saturday. I had a great time with them even though the zoo pretty much sucks these days. I remember it being so much better! Now there are no elephants, no bears, no hippo... It's just sad! And even though it wasn't too hot, a lot of the animals were hiding in whatever shade they could find. The girls loved it, though. Tariah's favorites were the penguins and probably everything inside the reptile house (which was missing the tarantula, dammit!). Tariah ended up getting a rubber snake for her souvenir, and Thayana found a little purse with a stuffed lion peeking out of it. :-) They are so adorable sometimes. After, Blaine took us to lunch at El Navilleros because we haven't been there in a long time. It was nice hanging out, the four of us, and Blaine and I agreed that we should do it more often.
