(no subject)
I feel really great about myself today for some reason. Probably because I feel really good about the way I look due to the fact that I actually stuck to my Points tonight. And we are out of chocolate chip muffins, so it will probably be MUCH easier to stick to my Points tomorrow. :-) I should stop buying those darn muffins, but my family loves them. I should totally invest in a small refrigerator that locks so that I can keep all of the contraband in it and have Jeniece and Blaine hide the key from me. They shouldn't have to suffer just because I don't want to eat the stuff. Not that Blaine needs to eat it, but I am not going to keep him from the foods he likes since he is the one who makes all of the money!
Speaking of food, the freezer that we keep in the garage decided to stop working the other day, and now we are out hundreds of dollars worth of good food. We had tons of seafood (shrimp, crab legs, tilapia, and salmon) in it along with other yummy foods that are now rotting. The stench is horrible, and now I am going to have to go in there and clean it all out. Yuck, yuck, yuck.
Thayana has been sick the past couple of days and I feel so bad for her. She has snot running from her nose frequently, and she can barely breathe at times. I am hoping it goes away quickly since it has been hard keeping her and Tyler apart so that she doesn't infect them. All the kids tend to be very social with one another, so they don't like being kept apart. Thayana usually gives Tyler kisses and plays with him, but I just can't let her right now. She did, however, say "Tyler" and "cousin" today. She is so freaking cute. And I really feel like I have been bonding with Tyler lately. We have such a good time together when he is here. It's going to be sad for me when Ton quits working and I won't be able to see him every day.
I can't wait for my birthday. I am not sure what is going to happen, but I know it will be fun. Ton, Marrissa, and I are talking about the possibility of taking a limo through the napa area for the day or just going out for dinner or even taking the Sacramento River Train. The River Train sounds fun, but I think they only offer beer or wine. Also, there are two shows during the night of my birthday: The Great Train Robbery and Murder Mystery Dinner Theater. Not sure I am really interested in that. I am thinking that dressing up for Napa or a night on the town would be more fun. We will have to see.
The photo jobs seem to be coming our way more abundantly lately. I have one planned for the 7th of October, possibly one for the 23rd of September, and then at least four already scheduled for next year. Marrissa and I are excited to be able to build our portfolio because every wedding we do seems to get better and better. Yay!
