Phew. Just finished with Directing class....my ten minute play was very well received, which, quite frankly, was both surprising and pleasing. Perhaps I had seen this show too many time during rehearsal, or perhaps I'm just a nervous nelly like this, but I didn't think it would go over as well as it did. But I received nothing but positive

Give Philmont some time. It's going to take your application awhile to process. It sucks, but there's not much they can do. But what you can do is call down once a week and just check and see if they got the application and see if there is any word yet. Another suggestion is to e-mail Fran Romero at the administrative office fromero@netbsa.org and ask the same questions. I've had fellow staff members do that and have positive results because it keeps your name on their minds and makes sure that your application hasn't been lost or something.
