How things change

So, let us recall a few things... Just over a year ago, what was life like? Hmmm, minimum wage retail job and a wedding after having just left college.

Was that really just a year ago? Golly Moses and sanctifico bovis.

To quote a movie - "Let me explain. No, it is too much. Let me sum up." (Name that movie without the aid of the internet and you are awesome) The book is better than the movie so far, though I am not finished with it yet.

I've been in another wedding already this year, for my husbands sister became a wife almost an entire month ago.
It is only one week from the mid-point of the Cleveland County public school year. It has been hectic, stressful, and totally enjoyable. I have worked, played, learned, almost anything you can think of.
My artsy side has been starving, though my stomach has been growing... I long for summer simply because then will I have the time to exercise (or really to be active at all) do my crafts and music, as well as keep the apartment clean and have a life. Oh the thrills.
There are many young people in need of guidance. I have taught many and talked with a few. Prayer is a definite need in some of those lives.

And my health is becoming quite pathetic. Oh, I'm not deathly ill by any means, just constantly under the weather. I hear it happens to many first year teachers, all the exposure to kids who go to school sick, kinda makes the immune system a bit confused.

Well, the water bed experiment was a complete failure, so back to a spring mattress tonight. If you could see my enthusiasm you would probably laugh, though I do long for a good nights sleep.

Anything else? No, for this is too much already and it is far to late for me to be awake. Must shower and drift into dreamland.. or maybe dreamless land...
