Hermione and Ginny clung together behind the bolted door, knowing that their time was come. Disarmed, their wands destroyed, Voldemort had freed them to be tracked for sport by his favourites. Cornered now, the stench of the hounds permeated their hiding place.
The door splintered and Draco stood over them.
“The mudblood and the blood traitor. Mine!” he leered. “What fun we’ll have. But, before we leave, let me introduce your guards. I believe you may be acquainted.” He stood aside to reveal two Inferii, recognisable despite their putrefaction.
“They even answer to their names. Harry, Severus, bring the prisoners”.
