Hermione screamed as he ripped the flimsy scrap of fabric from her body.
‘If you must wear such provocative underwear, witch, what do you expect?’ Severus picked her up and threw her unceremoniously on the bed.
Knock-knock. ‘Can I come in?’
‘It’s late, Albus. Go back to bed.’
‘But, there’s a monster.’
‘Go. Back. To. Bed.’
‘Nooooo. I want Mummeee.’
Hermione giggled. ‘I’ll have to see to him, Severus.’
‘I know.’
‘Alright, Albus, Mummy’s coming.’
She opened the door and looked down at their little boy.
‘I suppose it’s under the bed again?’
He nodded.
‘Okay. Let's go get Crookshanks.’
