Hermione opened her eyes. A rustling sound came from under their bed. She snatched up her wand and bolted off the bed into the living room.
"Severus!" she said to the man sitting in front of the fire with a magazine in his lap.
"Hmm?"
"There's something under the bed."
Concerned, Severus went into the darkened bedroom with his wife. Cautiously crouching down, Severus poked his illumined wand under the bed.
A pair of bulging eyes met their astonished gaze.
"Dobby!" exclaimed Hermione "What are you doing?" She turned to glare at Severus. "Was Lucius Malfoy here AGAIN?"
Severus cringed.
