Authors Notes: In my version of Snape has it all he even has every challenge issued in 2007 covered. This was completed in the wee hours of the morning. I hope it makes sense. The Page 197 Challenge was Franklin and Winston by Jon Meacham. The quote was Churchill's daughter referring to Eleanor Roosevelt. Babylon 5 is By any means necessary.
He was being far too accommodating. She was very suspicious. While her husband treasured his Order of Merlin, First Class, Severus never used his position in the wizarding community to curry political favors. He detested the limelight. Yet tonight Minister Potter, and several acolytes, were dining at Snape Manor. Just as they were tucking in to the feast, Severus raised his glass of elf made wine. “We must honor the War’s unsung heroes, muggles, including my beloved wife’s parents, who gave their lives so that the magical world would remain free. Hermione beamed proudly, as Potter shot a baleful glare.
Later, Hermione playfully teased Severus. “Fifty points from Slytherin for keeping me in the dark about tonight. I will never question your motives with Harry again.” Unknown to Hermione, Severus had overheard Arthur Weasley discussing Harry’s plans for the new memorial. If the idea began with Severus, Hermione’s gratitude would know no bounds. Severus moved to stand behind Hermione at her vanity as she brushed her mane of curls. “I would go to any lengths, by any means necessary to please you my dear.” Severus leaned down and whispered in Hermione’s ear, “Come to bed wife,” in his silkiest voice.
One year later, the wizarding community turned out in full force for the dedication of the memorial. Hermione beamed at Molly while rocking her infant son in her arms. “Did you know Severus played an instrumental role in creating this memorial? I look forward to teaching Stephan about his grandparents’ war efforts here.” “Severus does dote on you, dearie’’ exclaimed Molly as Harry joined them. Harry scanned the crowd to find Severus on the edge, leaning against an oak. As green eyes locked onto black, Severus smirked. “Indeed Molly,” Harry agreed, “Severus goes to any lengths necessary to please Hermione.”
