“Have I made myself clear?” Snape questioned in his low, dangerous voice. “Yes Professor,” replied the prefects respectfully. “Then, you’re dismissed!” The two boys walked away as fast as their pride allowed. Snape turned as shadow gave way to solid form. “Professor Granger,” he acknowledged. “So formal Severus?” Hermione queried. “Take heed my professor. Public areas make poor stages for private dialog. How is McFadden?” Snape digressed. “It’s mostly his pride wounded. Malfoys are gifted at tormenting their perceived inferiors,” Hermione sighed. “Malfoys continue to confuse inbreeding for superior breeding,” Snape sneered. “However, must it require 50 points from Slytherin?”
