“Why are you doing this?”
Tears shimmered in her eyes. “Don’t you like it?”
“It’s pretty, yes.” His eyes bore into hers. “But it’s not you.”
She sighed. “Haven't you ever thought that maybe I don’t like ‘me’?”
“I’d like to kill the fool who told you that you are not pleasing.”
“No one told me, it’s just…”
“Ah. I suppose I’ll just have to destroy the entire society.”
She laughed. “Severus…”
“Does this please you, Hermione?”
“Yes.”
“Then it pleases me as well. But know that once I have you sufficiently distracted, I’ll be removing the glamour charm so that I can see you just as you are. Because seeing you pleases me."
