She'd tried to ignore it, reasoned it was something shifting in the near-forgotten storage closet.
Wait! She'd not opened it in months, could it be a boggart? Hermoine flung open the door and pointed her wand.
“Riddikulus!”
Inside the closet, Severus Snape stood glowering, magically bound and gagged, dusty from his attempts to gain attention.
“Severus! I'm sorry, I completely forgot to warn you about that faulty protection ward. Let me release you...”
She looked thoughtful, then mischievious,
“...a little later.”
He raised an eyebrow as she stepped forward, closing the door on them both.
