Hermione gently ushered him into the shop. She knew he didn’t enjoy shopping but there was no way she was doing this without his input.
The shop owner displayed some very gorgeous samples of his wares. Hermione ooo’d and ahh’d and held Severus’s hand, feeling more emotional than she had expected.

As Hermione tried the ring on for size, Severus explained. “I could hear it saying ‘please, pick me.’”
