The redheaded girl was riding her swing higher and higher, hair swaying like a flame, until she flew from her seat and landed ten feet farther. Hard. On her knees.
The other girl stopped her swing, dragging her feet on the gravel, and ran to help her.
But he was already there. “Let me see.”
Brown eyes, full of tears, met his.
“Just grazed knees. Come, Hermione is better at healing that.”
With Lily Potter in his arms and his daughter Margot trailing behind, Severus headed towards the house.
