These are the first words I have written in a long time. This is literally my very first use of my Wacon tablet, as well. I've only ever painted with a mouse before. Maybe these should be warnings, rather than author’s notes.

Hermione's Delight
It was her birthday. Her friends, her family, even her colleagues, gave her books. They always did. Most didn’t take the time to consider what she would like to read. Her husband was different. Severus always put a great amount of thought, time, and care into selecting the book he would gift her with. She heard Severus come in. She sighed resignedly. She heard him walk up behind her. "Happy Birthday," he whispered. The dark seduction in his voice made her shiver. Before she could turn to him, he clasped a silky strand of black pearls around her neck.
