After Simone was born (too many years ago, dammit), I became a bit of a stickler about presents that are actually enrichment activities, and trying to gauge where the girls are developmentally is a little difficult with not seeing them so often lately.
With Simone doing the Girl Scouts thing, she's already had exposure to the Goldie Blox girls' engineering toys, and if there were even more, I'd buy all of them for her.
Simone's mother suggested dolls for Vivienne, but Vivienne is still being a two-year-old asshole to me, so she's getting educational toys that will hopefully still be a little fun and just annoying enough.
And I didn't even have to leave the kitchen.
I am stoked.
