My nonsensical post
My 6 month vacation nearly comes to a close as another sufferable year of college opens. What have I done?
Literally nothing.
I can't believe I'm saying this but I actually want to go to school. Maybe I'm a masochist, or maybe I feel my intellectualnessnitude dwindle as days go by.
I'm looking forward to the coming months for 2 reasons:
1)Dynamite CD (Jamiroquai) - It carries that pretty song 7 Days in Sunny June (I stress, not related to Sunny or June, so don't worry)
2) Advent Children (FF7) - I'm probably the only one to say this but it's better than a game sequel or remake, both which irk me greatly.
On the subject of #2, I hope the remake rumour stays a rumour. Call me an elitest but I don't want new FF7 fans. The fans are pretty dumb as it is, and adding new ones just so people can have the priviledge of experiencing new graphics because the original is oh so SuXx0rz!!11 is not a reason.
I've seen people stop playing ff7 on their ps2 because they think it's ugly (FFX is usually their gateway game). Er, dude...maybe you should focus on the gameplay and story instead. Besides, FF7 is still pretty good, hardly dated in my eyes. I played through ff5 and 6 after 7, and I never complained about the graphics. I dislike 6 for other reasons.
I hope SquareEnix isn't going to sell out with a this venture. Say whatever you like about Advent Children, but at least they're exploring a different medium.
