Episode Eight: Two Wood Aspected walked into a Palace
Alabrae and his friend, Natasa, explored the Empress' holiday manse in the dead of night. It was seemingly abandoned, but two quickly stumbled on a clandestine meeting. Listening in, it sounded like one of the Fair Folk and an undead nemessiary discussing an alliance; all they needed was a certain people to sacrifice. Alabrae went to warn the other's but when they all returned the manse was empty.
In the morning, the Brotherhood decided to follow Mnemon Rogan to the Frozen Wood, suspecting he may be the target for the sacrifice. Upon arriving, they saw two people fighting an undead horde. The Brotherhood leapt into the fray. They were surprised to find that the two people were Brand, Morn's father, and Amber Starfall, his Anathema companion. Just as Morn had his family reunion, something large and necrotic burst from the ground. The Brotherhood were undeterred.
