I jumped off the WFRP3e bandwagon a while back, but I think this is of interest:
http://new.fantasyflightgames.com/ffg_content/wfrp/support/SiftingShadows_lorez.pdf Essentially, FFG are, just after 1 year of the RPGs release, re-releasing the core set and supplement material into a series of 3 hardback books and 3 box sets of components. The idea is to make the core rules more robust by including in all the card information into the text, adding in the supplementary material to take it to expected levels, and make the components optional.
I can see why they have done this given the issues with the core set, but I wonder what the impact will be so early in its line. WFRP3e is not a cheap line and the new format still costs US$120 for the 3 books (which is 20% more than D&D4e pre-Essentials) and a whoppong US$230 with all the components.
As much as I would like to see a cleaned up rulebook, this is too much for me :)
