those of you who read my beloveds LJ will know our car ceased up the day after we returned from Wales.We were due to go to Sue Brumpton's barb-b-q sat and another at the parents of our nephews wife sunday to celebrate her birthday. Carol worked out we should hire a car from Enterprise in Dartford who gave us such good service on our insurance courtesy car. She contacted them by phone and we made a reservation on line.During the morning I said we should go. She said we didn't need to leave so soon and she was writing to her cousin.When we left we just caught a bus on which we sat for over an hour,road works in Crayford and the Dartford Festival parade all contriputed to the delay.The car hire place the other side of Dartford shut at midday we were still stuck in traffic in mid Dartford.Then the bus we were on does not stop between Dartford and Bluewater afact Carol hah informed me of but seemed so bizarre I did not understand.It went sailing passed the stop at the end of the road we needed and we arrived in Bluewater.My anger made me not fit company so Carol and I went our separate ways,she shopping,me on the next bus home.I tried to find another way even walked to the station to get a London train.Got soaked on the way,siting on thr station realised by the time I would arrive I would have to think about coming home, Gave up walked home.I was so angry because working every Saturday I miss so many of these events but because I am home could go to this one and see Sue again after so many years. I realise maybe I am not ment to go places, have a social life, and have friends, so at the moment am given up on all these things .Maybe I should become a hermit.
