Thank you. It didn't occur to me that you wanted eggplant. I started a couple from seed that Annie sent me. One for my garden, and one for back-up, just in case. I planted the one yesterday, so you can have the back-up, if you want. They're white, round eggplants. I forget how large they're supposed to get.

No rush though. The back-up plant is still a little small. More time in the grow box won't hurt him any.

I can't believe you don't eat the eggplant skins.

I didn't know you were supposed to, they are kind of tough. I guees if I eat the skin of an apple, it shouldn't be much different, right?

Maybe I'll get that plant Monday night?

I like the skins, especially when I'm making eggplant dressing. The skins keep the diced eggplant from melting away and disappearing into the rice.

Sure, you have seen a mulberry tree, you just didn't realize it. If you have looked out my kitchen window, or sat on my deck, you can't have missed the neighbor's mulberry tree. I don't think there are enough to cause much pollen, though. I heard it was oak and birch, and there are plenty of both of those in Charlotte. Didn't think of pine--that makes sense too.

So weird. My comment didn't appear for several minutes, so I thought I screwed up and reposted. Sorry!
