(no subject)
Not a lot has been going on since I last updated. Basically I've just been going to classes and to work. By the way, for those of you who frequent a Barnes and Noble (or any retail store for that matter), if someone has a nametag on, that generally means they work there! I can't count how many times in just the last week I've been asked this question while putting books away (something our customers never seem to do) or scanning shelves. I've been so tempted to just say "no, I just happen to own a PDT (a thing that scans ISBNs for us) and receive joy from going into bookstores and scanning random shelves." Honestly. Anyway, classes have been going pretty well, although the paper I turned in today for my English Country House class was pure bullshit. And I don't mean that in a good way. In other news, I've picked up an application for study abroad for next semester. With any luck, I'll be going to the University of York in September!!! I'm so nervous about them admitting me into the program. I really hope I make it. Anyway, I've got tons of reading to get started on and they always say there's no time like the present (although "they" have not always been trustworthy :) )
