I woke up at 3am on Monday morning with pretty severe pain on the right side of my stomach. After some failed attempts at "passing" I quickly came to suspect that while several of the other symptoms were missing (most notably nausea) that it was possible my Appendix needed to go. Parking has become a pretty crazy problem here at the Arsenal. Nobody seems to know whether the problem is increased load from the tenants, or from outside pressure (people using the FREE garage then taking the 70 bus to Central, etc), but it is now not uncommon to be unable to find any parking in the complex if you arrive late ( Read more... )

For lunch today I ordered the Hallaca at La Casa de Pedro, which was the special of the day..  It is a traditional holiday meal, so I'm hoping that it is offered throughout the holidays so I can have it again!  It was one of the more delicious things I've eaten in awhile..  We're so lucky to have such a great restaurant with such great lunch deals ( Read more... )
