Oh My FG!

I'd like to be the first to announce on My Old Kentucky Blog that The State is reuniting (though in truth we never broke up) to make a sketch comedy movie. All I can say about it is that we're back together after a brief ten year break and it's going to be about the history of our country. Hopefully, funny.

This weekend was all about entertainment and real estate. The Independent Film Festival of Boston is going on, and coco_b  and I hit up a bunch of screenings:

This was a pretty crazy weekend!  On Friday night I went to Symphony Hall to see Artie Lange, from the Howard Stern Show (and formerly of MadTV).  It was a great time, Jim Florentine and Greg Fitzsimmons opened, both of whom I've enjoyed for some time, so it was great to see them live.  The MC was some local guy, who wasn't that good and got pretty ( Read more... )

God it'd be great if this and the full-cast reunion in Reno 911: Miami turned into a reunion tour...

After ten years of popular demand, The State is available again! The first season of the critically acclaimed 1993-95 MTV Series will be released on iTunes Music Store, starting Tuesday, September 26th. Depending on how many people download, MTV will release subsequent seasons, and then eventually, hopefully, a DVD.

More proof that Saturday Night Live is getting funny again

This week has been fun... the Ig Nobel Awards on Thursday were tons of fun, more so than I expected, actually. It turns out gib was there as well, and we discussed organizing a CSH or RIT delegation next year to show up all the Harvard and MIT delegations..

This month is completely cracked out.... First off, tomorrow coco_b and I are going to the 2005 Ig Nobel Awards Ceremony at Harvard... Then on Friday, we are going with equalize and Myers to see Stephen Lynch at the Orpheum.
