car woes.
so i talked to head guy at the body shop where my car is. since i am on a fist name basis with most of the guys there (its the place we send all our body work since it is right behind the shop) i have been pretty well informed with the condition/status of my car.
here is the deal:
massive amounts of frame damage. mechanically everything is alright except for the stuff in the front (radiator/condenser/etc.)
total estimate is around $12k. car is worth around $13k. $12k doesnt count the work that will have to be done at honda like the srs system so tack on another 2-5k.
yeah, they are gonna total it.
right now i am just trying to distance myself from the emotional ties i have to the car. alot of blood, sweat, and tears went into that car. literally, i cant count how many times i busted my knuckles on that sucker. so that sucks.
on a lighter note i am looking at this car a buddy is gonna sell me for 2500. 94 civic, new motor and paint. looks really good. and oh yeah, no car payment. that will be fucking awesome. i am trying to look at the good in this situation.
still seeing amber. been finding new levels of awesomeness with her. i totally dig her so that is also good.
work has been ok. still slow, but picking up.
josie is fucking insane. i let nopes run the house, but every time i try that with jos she tears shit up. so, she gets locked up while i am away. these are my dogs by the way, not people. some of ya might not know the pups names.
all in all im ok. still alive and kicking.
