Luke is finally coming around yes. He realizes that he wants Reid forever even if that means they cannot have children. And Reid is starting to bend just a little as well. The decision is in the next chapter and please come back and tell me if you were right. :-) Thank you so much for your lovely comment. I'm glad you're enjoying the story and what you said means so much to me. I always hate to see a series go as well, but I'm so grateful to those who take the journey with me. ~Ali

I love seeing Luke and Reid grow back together as they each share the depth of their hopes and fears. Well done!

In the epilogue they are just as happy (if not happier) then they were in Chapter 1. ~Ali

You had me going there in the beginning in regards to Luke being ok. Even though I knew you wouldn't have any complications with Luke's surgery, just waiting for the doctor to say it was successful, was tense. But whew!! He's ok. I never thought that the reason for Reid's reluctance to have children was because of Annie Judd. Now it all makes sense. He couldn't bare to lose a child like the Judds did. Or how Jason's parents almost did as well. And Reid is right. Some marriages can't make it through the loss of a child. So I can understand Reid's fear. It's not so much of being a good father to their daughter, because he knows he'll be a great father, but it's the possibility of losing his child and Luke all at once. And that is something he can't handle. But it looks like he's talks with Luke, Katie and Chris seems to be helping him see that being a father is worth it. And I agree. Luke balances Reid out. I can't wait to read about their decision. :D Another wonderful chapter!! <3

Yes, Luke is definitely OK. :-) Glad you didn't think Reid's decision about children was OC. Luke and Reid make the final decision in the next chapter. Thank you so much! :-) ~Ali

Honestly, I know how much Luke loves children, but Reid is right. With his kidney issues and the fact that he is going to be struggling with this for the rest of his life, is it the best thing to bring a child into it? I think Reid's reasons are valid, and I'm with spice, I thought Luke was being a little selfish about it, especially when he has so many children in his life to dote on.

I am glad that they both seem to have come to common ground, Luke realizing that maybe Reid CAN be everything and Reid actually considering having children.

I'm sorry that this story is coming to an end as I love the way that you write them together and their struggles are real. But I'll be glad to see them happy again!

Thanks, Ali, for another great story!

Reid does have some valid reasons. And we'll have to see if those influence Luke's decision on the matter. They are finally moving toward being on the same page, thank goodnes! Thank you so much. I always hate to see a series go, but I'm grateful to those who take the journey with me. ~Ali
